BIO
Petra Hanisch studied ballet pedagogy at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover from 1993 to 1997.
Since 1997 she has worked as a dancer and choreographer at various theatres. Her work includes projects for Expo Hannover, the Würzburg City Theatre, the Wechselbad Theatre in Dresden and the Palazzo Libera in Italy.
In 1997, she was a guest lecturer at the University of Music, Drama and Media in Hanover, where she taught movement to drama students.
From 1998 to 2000 she studied modern dance at ‘Danza Contemporanea de Cuba’ in Havana.
From Autumn 2002 to Summer 2004 she studied at the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden and graduated with a Masters in Choreography.
Since 2004 she has been the owner of the dance school ‘Tanzraum Dresden’, where she teaches dance and movement to children and young people.
She also works as a freelance choreographer.
In 2024 she founded the acting agency Move, which represents actresses and actors with special dance and movement skills.
